Welcome to the Achordants |
The UNC Achordants are the OLDEST all-male a cappella group here at UNC
with a giant orange balloon. Well known across campus for their
bi-annual extravaganzas showcasing thrilling vocal shenanigans,
heart-pounding drama, as well as confusing but mildly amusing comedy,
the Achordants are also committed to supporting service-oriented groups
all over campus and the North Carolina community.
In the spring of 2005, the Achordants became the South Regional Champions at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, securing them a spot on the stage of NYC's Lincoln Center. The group, however, never loses sight of its mission statement, and continues to hold a rich tradition of advocating charitable causes. Perhaps most importantly, the Achordants believe that the key to collegiate a cappella is to have fun, and to not take oneself too seriously! |
